Kettlewell is the ideal centre for visiting the market town of Skipton with its famous castle, Harrogate for spas, shops, and restaurants, York for its rich heritage and the "James Herriot country", of Coverdale, Wensleydale and Swaledale. Kettlewell was also the main setting for the internationally famous film, "The Calendar Girls".
